This protocol is custom-made for the modern-day displaced populations - be it a displacement through familial or cultural trauma, technology, or the rapid disappearance of very recent ways of life, such as software engineering or genuine artistic pursuits. This approach is based on critical psychology and expertise in life sciences, and the apparent lack of proof of any biochemical, genomic, or neurobiological correlates of the so-called mental illness - but ample of proof for the trauma-focus of psychotraumatology, CPTSD theory and the de-stigmatisation of suffering via bioethics aimed at mainstream psychiatry and therapy. Combine that with the insane violence of technology, such as the abuse of generative art or LLMs, and you have a picture of a modern person as a displaced, homesick nomad, somehow being trapped in abstract economic pseudo-realities, in yearning for love in algorithms of dating apps, and a deep sense of a meaningless, statistical life. Biodefiance Protocol teaches therapists to understand that. And to own the epistemic responsibility for the landscape of latest discoveries and failures in psychology, and to understand, own, and reign-in the abhorrent abuse of technology, economy, and civilisational projects. Not the disproven delusions of XIX century definitions of personality disorders mixed in with hand-waving of mediocre neuroscience.
